Rounding corners

Be still, but don’t stand still. Be still like the wind creeping in through the kitchen door only to embrace the sun out on the front porch. Cut corners, but know that they are there. Let your fingers brush over them them as you slip past, just to remind yourself that they are there for hiding, but that you are on your way. You crave the stillness found between layers of streaming air, not the stillness of corners.
